Lloyd is a shareholder with Lovoy, Summerville & Shelton, P.C. and serves as the firm's president. He has overall responsibility for its management as well as the delivery of tax and consulting services and special service projects for our clients. He is a native of Birmingham and is a graduate of The University of Alabama. He received his CPA certificate in 1989. Lloyd has a wide variety of experience and has served a diverse group of clients, including both closely-held and public entities, throughout his career. He has been involved in a variety of engagements including the development of policies and procedures for an in-house tax department, cash flow projections, development of start-up and annual budgets, performance of agreed upon procedures to develop internal controls and development of annual corporate and individual tax plans. Lloyd is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Birmingham Chapter of the Alabama Society. He is a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club of Birmingham and has served the Club in various Capacities.

Lloyd also serves on the Board of Directors of The Birmingham Metro YMCA and the Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation as well as the finance committees for the Birmingham Metro YMCA and the City of Mountain Brook. Lloyd also coaches boys baseball and basketball teams throughout the year. |
