(205) 314-3861 Jeff is a shareholder with Lovoy, Summerville & Shelton, P.C. and is responsible for providing audit, tax and consulting services to our clients. He is from Vestavia Hills and is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He received his CPA certificate in 1984. Jeff began his career in 1982 with an international accounting firm located in Birmingham. He was a member of the Audit Division and became an Audit Manager in 1987. In 1988, he transferred to the Tax Division and was a Tax Manager until he joined Lovoy, Summerville & Shelton, P.C. in the Fall of 1994. During his career, Jeff has been responsible for audit and tax engagements for both public and non-public companies. He has also provided numerous consulting services including profitability studies, cost segregation studies, budgets and projections, efficiency studies, uniform cost capitalization studies, merger and acquisition consultation, retirement planning, compensation planning and provided assistance with IRS examination resolution.

Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to his professional activities, Jeff has previously coached boys and girls baseball, basketball and soccer teams throughout the year. |
