314-3865 Jane is a Senior Tax Manager with Lovoy, Summerville & Shelton, P.C., responsible for providing tax and business consulting services to our clients. A native of Athens, Alabama, she is a 1995 graduate of The University of Alabama. In 1996, she earned a Masters of Tax Accounting degree from The University of Alabama. Jane received her CPA certificate in 1998. Jane began her career in 1996 with an international accounting firm as tax associate. She was promoted to Tax Manager in 2001. In the same year, Jane accepted a position as Tax Manager for a Fortune 500 company. In 2005, she was promoted to Director of Corporate Accounting. Jane joined Lovoy, Summerville & Shelton, P.C. as a Senior Tax Manager in January 2006. During her career, Jane has been involved in tax consulting and compliance services for both public and non-public companies. She has served companies in the manufacturing, retail, publishing, direct selling and venture capital industries. Her responsibilities included tax return compliance, tax controversies, state and local tax consulting, and FAS 109. |
Jane is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is an active member of the Junior League of Birmingham and The Service Guild of Birmingham.
